Service Description

So you’ve had your initial psychotherapy session, whew! If you and your psychologist are both feeling good about continuing, now you’re in the process of individual psychotherapy! Ongoing sessions often feel different from the initial session. Every therapist has a different personality and style, but in general, ongoing sessions are meant to help you work towards your goals for mental health & wellness while continuing to develop rapport with your therapist. Individual psychotherapy means you’re meeting 1-on-1 with your therapist, and these meetings can be focused on a variety of issues and approaches, which include processing your past, learning coping skills for the present, or taking steps towards your goals in the future. There are often check-ins at various points about how you are feeling about your progress, whether you want to redefine your goals, and feedback in either direction. At any point you are welcome to ask questions and share your input about the process.


Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 48 hours (business) prior to your appointment. If you give less than 48 hours advance notice or no notice at all, you will be responsible for the full cost of the session, including what insurance ordinarily would have paid.
